God is calling everyone in this new season, to enter into His presence and be with Him.
He sees us as; "First class Citizens"
1. of the highest or best class or quality, of the highest value.
2. best-equipped and most expensive, excellent and first rate..
3. given or entitled to preferred treatment, handling, etc.
Jesus loves each and everyone of you and He and the Father, had you in mind when
they planned the crucifixion. If you really could see yourself, as God sees, you are a beautifully
and wonderfully made in His image, loved by the Father.
God is calling you to be with Him. He is asking you to take a little time out of your day,
and spend it with Him. Just living in this age of distraction alone, makes it more important than
ever to take the opportunity and spend time with God. Satan will fight you all the way,
to prevent you from taking time to be alone with God.
Many of you are worn out, loaded up with so many questions, and having life situations occur
without having the answers. You have no peace, and no sleep. This is where frustration
and/or fear can enter into our hearts. Our survival instincts begin to kick in and we wind up living
a life reacting and responding to everything that happens to us.
It's time to stop exhausting yourself by trying to do things in the power of the flesh, and
begin to rely on the Lord for you strength. (Psalm 28)
It's time to come close to the Lord. If you would spend a little time with Him, you will find out, how
good He is. You would have peace and security resting over your life. Joy would come
into your heart and you will begin to be happy. In order to get there, you have to spend time with Him.
Take a moment and talk to God about your life. Talk to Him about everything; while
you are at home, driving, at work, in the shower, while you're shopping, cooking and even exercising.
He is a great listener, great helper and more than a best friend. Look to the Lord and
His strength; seek his face always. (1 Chronicles 16:11)
God has so much in store for you this new season. Ask Him to help you order your day.
Begin to expect more, and ask for more. Be encouraged by what Christ has already done for you and your soul. His comfort to all believers, will be to His glory, for ever and ever.
I cannot tell you how many times, I have heard people who are in the middle of making difficult changes in
their life, tell me something like " I don't know how to explain it other than God gave me strength!".
In the moments when you feel you might cave in or fall back; reach out to God and say: God, I need your strength to do this and He will provide it.
Are you weak? Stressed? Battling depression? Do you need more energy and wisdom
to run this race of life that you are in?
I want to encourage you today and tell you that God will always lead you into the truth that you need in order
to resolve the issues that you are dealing with.
Believe and trust the word of God in the scriptures. (Bible)
If we try to be strong in our own might, we don’t give God the opportunity to use his strength
as he lives through us.
When we rely on Him, we’re actually living by his power and strength.
Isaiah 40: 28-31
28 Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary;
his understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the faint,
and to him who has no might he increases strength.
30 Even youths shall faint and be weary,
and young men shall fall exhausted;
31 but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.
While at Church today I saw a picture in my mind of a China Shop. The shop had many beautiful piece of china plates, cups and saucers. Some looked very plain and some had a beautiful detailed design on them.
Each one was on a pretty stand for display.
But, this display was not from the Lord. It was from Man.
What had happened was that, along the way in our lives we started to find our own niches, our own ways to safety. We devised a way in our own minds to create systems, formulas, and patterns and allow them to come inside of us and take up roots. We put these designs and structures in place. We formed and established repeated traditions and rituals in our lives and gave them a symbolic meaning.
In the book of Exodus the bible tells us in plain words not to fashion or bow down to any image or idols.
King Josiah grew into a remarkable leader who feared the Lord and who had a heart for being faithful.
He made the decision to smash every image and idol that was not of God.
The king, smashed all the altars and scattered their dust in the valley of Kidron.
It is time to follow and be led by the Holy Spirit. It is time for you to smash the idols
that keep you from God.
God wants to bless you. He died for you and gave you life. A life you can choose to live of the Holy Spirit.
Deuteronomy 4:15 says - For your own good... do not sin by making an idol in any form at all.
It's decision making time. It's a time to let go and trust the Lord with your ministries, your personal goals,
your routines, you own dwelling places of safety.
God wants you to live a purpose-filled life.
It starts with Him and it is far greater than your own personal fulfillment.
Do you want happiness? Do you want to have meaning in your life?
It's time to choose the right choices. To trust the Lord and obey the Holy Spirit.
He will show you what matters most.
You were made for God and it's about letting God use you for His purpose and
not the other way around.
It's time to let go and allow your dishes to get smashed!
